The Cahokia Police Department is proud and fortunate to have two K9 units serving the citizens and visitors of the city. The teams are assigned to different shifts, which allow a dog to be available at various times of the day or night.
The teams have been very successful in locating drugs, currency, and suspects, making the community a safer place for everyone. K-9 Feight and K-9 Paco are certified as full-service dogs. Their successes have not gone unnoticed by surrounding communities; as they are often requested by other departments to assist in drug searches as well as to track suspects or locate articles.
